36 hours in Calgary – A New York Times feature
They say that the average “overnight success” takes about 14 years of effort.
As we enter our thirteenth year of serving Calgary with fun – EAT. ENGAGE. EXPLORE. – food experiences, it feels like we are getting closer to fulfilling our purpose of building value for the soil, food and people in our city, province, country and the world. One sign that we are really on the right track, was being featured in this recent article in The New York Times – 36 hours in Calgary – by Elaine Glusac.
Click on the link and have a read. Glusac did such a great job of researching things to do in our city that we all learned a lot and have new bucket lists for our city! The New York Times – they’re the real deal in journalism and our president, Karen Anderson, was thrilled to spend a half day with Glusac during her time in Calgary.
Over the next year, on this blog, we hope to deliver stories that will help you explore our city, engage with our community and eat the great Alberta food to be found here. Got a topic you’d like to see us write about? Drop us a line at media@albertafoodtours.ca
