Alberta Food Tours’ owner partners with The Silk Road Spice Merchant to create a spice box to help cooks make the passage to Indian cooking

Alberta Food Tours has been proud to feature The Silk Road Spice Merchants on our Calgary – Inglewood Edibles – Made by Mavericks – food tours for many years.

So it is with great delight that Alberta Food Tours owner Karen Anderson and her cookbook partner Noorbanu Nimji at A Spicy Touch announce a partnership with The Silk Road Spice Merchants that coincides with the launch of A Spicy Touch – Family Favourites from Noorbanu Nimji’s Kitchen.

Together they have created and are selling a masala daba spice box to help home cooks make a successful passage to Indian cooking.

The boxes are made of high quality stainless steel, contain 7 cylinders filled with cumin, Indian chilli powder, black mustard seeds, turmeric, coriander, cardamom, cloves, black pepper, star anise and Sri Lankan (true) cinnamon bark. They are fitted with a transparent air tight lid and come with instructions for use.
