Start your weekend off right. Visit one of these spots that made it on our Top 10 Brunch Spots in Calgary list. Got one of your own? Let us know. We love hearing from you.

  1. Friends with Benedicts – If you’re looking for a quick but very satisfying brunch, pop into the First Street Market on 1 St SW near 12 Ave for some spectacular Eggs Bennie.  Our Events and Community Manager, Nicole, recommends the Smooth Talker Benedict with fresh pico de gallo and smashed avocado.
  2. Vendome Cafe – This Sunnyside neighbourhood gem has fed locals for over a decade.  Make a reservation or be prepared to wait.  It’s worth it. Pro tip: If you like cinnamon buns, theirs are the size of your head!
  3. Brekkie – Hidden away in a strip mall in Westpark SW, Brekkie is a favourite for our Alberta Food Tours team. The Lemon Berry Pancakes are a must-try or order your Bennie on potato rosti like we do.
  4. Park by Sidewalk Citizen – The Shakshuka or the Kachapuri are both delish.  If you don’t know what either is, you definitely need to go and find out cause you are missing out.

  6. OEB – There are now 4 locations in Calgary to get your Breakfast Poutine fix.  IYKYK.
  7. Z Crew Cafe – This is President, Karen Anderson’s, go-to spot for downtown breakfast meetings. There are so many great Asian-influenced bowls and vegan and vegetarian options to choose from.
