This year round tour is almost completely indoors with only a short walk between two buildings.
Meet us at Market Wines in the North East corner of the parking lot at The Calgary Farmers’ Market. You will receive a savoury pastry, a generous portion of salad, an assortment of fruit, coffee and beverage pairing/tasting to start. We’ll stroll over to the farmers’ market then and hear stories and do tastings at 15 market vendors including fresh fruits, vegetables, local beverages, juices, bison, beef, pork and cheeses.
You’ll be seated for brunch and need to stand for about an hour at the market. All guests receive market bags and our Eat Alberta First guide to the market complete with recipes and shopping lists.

Our tours are recommended for ages 14 and older. The legal drinking age in Alberta is 18. Non-alcoholic beverages will be substituted for those under 18 and ID’s will be checked in accordance with the law.
Parking is available at each tour’s starting location. After your purchase tickets, you’ll receive emails with parking suggestions.
Please be sure to let us know if you (or anyone in your group) has a dietary restrictions (e.g. if you are vegetarian, have celiac disease or severe food allergies) This is one of the questions you must fill in before you can purchase your tickets. As long as we know in advance, we can usually accommodate your needs.
Yes, advance ticket purchase is required. Events typically sell out quickly. To maximize your chances of getting the date, time, and number of tickets you prefer, please book well in advance.
Yes, bathrooms are available during the tour at selected food-tasting locations. Your guide will point them out as the tour progresses.
