Sleep in and let us feed and entertain you on a lazy Sunday morning in Edmonton's' historic Old Strathcona.

The Old Strathcona District of Edmonton

Your tour guide will greet you at MEAT restaurant in Old Strathcona. We’ll enjoy a full eggs benedict and mimosa to get your belly happy. Then it’s off to nearby Sugared and Spiced for treats fresh from the oven and to fuel up with a coffee.  On to Strathcona Spirits for a private tour and tasting before a strong and very sweet finish at Ohana Donuterie and Fan Fan Patisserie where we meet and play with the lovely French baker himself.

Are children allowed?

Our tours are recommended for ages 14 and older. The legal drinking age in Alberta is 18. Non-alcoholic beverages will be substituted for those under 18 and ID’s will be checked in accordance with the law.

Is there parking available?

Parking is available at each tour’s starting location. After your purchase tickets, you’ll receive emails with parking suggestions.

Do we only walk around and sample food?

Absolutely not. Our tours combine architectural commentary, historical facts, local culture and culinary insight into a unique 3-hour experience. Imagine walking through the city eating our local artisan’s most delicious foods while learning about the neighbourhoods from real locals.

What if I have dietary restrictions or allergies?

Please be sure to let us know if you (or anyone in your group) has a dietary restrictions (e.g. if you are vegetarian, have celiac disease or severe food allergies) This is one of the questions you must fill in before you can purchase your tickets.  As long as we know in advance, we can usually accommodate your needs.

Do I need to tip?

Gratuities for all our partner’s staff are included in our prices. Gratuities for our guides are not included but are greatly appreciated and completely at your discretion. The standard gratuity in the service industry is 15- 20%.
